Batch doesn't work the same way in wine?

A VM would maybe be the easiest way to test things.

Sorry, I didn't want to go into details (because I had no idea). After doing some research, here is the reason:

Using the Wine's CMD it says:

Z:\home\lacii>ping google.hu
fixme:ping:main this command currently just sleeps based on -n parameter

So the ping program may has not been written, or has been disabled for reasons. But running a batch file does not give any notification about it, not even in PingLog.txt.

Hmm, weird. Looks like it's a known bug, but nobody has bothered to fix it since 2010: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24436
