Has anyone solved this challenge recently? I interpret the question as follows:
Suppose that the desired corner frequency is -20 dB of f(c) from EE2, what is the required value of L to achieve this?
This seems to be a rather simple question, but none of the possible answers (in H or in mH) works. Is my interpretation wrong or the challenge broken?
Agreed, the decription is really unclear, is the -20dB off the gain and frequency is the same as ee2, or is it like kumaus said or what?
This challenge is a continuation of EE2. EE4 is also related. That's why they all share the same diagrams.
Well it should be answer at least that is the answer in mH or H and is the frequency decreased by -20dB or is the Vout -20db of the Vin or is the Vout -23db of the Vin or something else? I am studying electrical engineering at university but the question is really badly formated
Hi, you solved it. May be you could improve the question...
Well, there is an error in the description. The question itself would be to find the L1 value, for witch at frequency <ee2 solution> reduces the gain by -20dB, but as said there is a little error.
Could you guys PM me with what you're trying? Someone else suggested that there's a mistake and I want to see if others are in agreement.
I've adjusted the solution now and the explanation (thanks to kaumaus, Faust, and jusb3 for their help there). Try it out again and see if it's better now.
I've also given a hall-of-fame entry to everyone who helped fix this issue.
Hi, I disagree with the answer that I submitted yesterday. I found one more from the solution.

I've adjusted the description and diagram (thanks again kumaus). Does this make it clearer now?
